Our Purpose for Sunday Morning Classes for Children

From the earliest ages we want our children to know they can participate heroically in God's plan to reach the world. Consequently, we invest a great deal of thought, prayer, and energy into our children's ministry. Each Sunday morning a small army of volunteers helps teach the children to know God, to worship Him, to respect authority, to grow in character and obedience to God's Word, and to fulfill the destiny God has for their lives.

Our pre-k and kindergarten classes focus on providing a positive church experience as well as teaching the children about Jesus and God's Word. Our grade school classes encourage children to read and apply God's Word independently. Sunday School is also a place where your children will hear the gospel and learn about Biblical baptism. May we encourage you to make a commitment to bring your family to Sunday School this year; we assure you that you will see evidence of spiritual growth in the lives of your children.

Sunday Morning Classes for Children Birth - 3 Years of Age

Consult the Age-Limit Policy when your child has a birthday to determine when to move him/her up to the next age-level class for Sunday School and Children's Church. Thank you.

Infant Nursery is located in room number 3 and is available during Sunday school and both Sunday morning worship services throughout the year. This nursery has a secluded area for nursing mothers. During the early Sunday morning worship service this age group is cared for in room number 1 with the 1 and 2 year-olds.

1 Year Olds meet in room number 4 and is avaliable during Sunday school throughout the year. During both Sunday morning worship services this age group is cared for in room number 1 with the 2 year-olds (the infants are also in this room during the early service).

2 Year Olds meet in room number 1 and is avaliable during Sunday school and both Sunday morning worship services throughout the year.

3 Year Olds meet in room number 2 and is avaliable during Sunday school and both Sunday morning worship services throughout the year.

Sunday Morning Classes for Children 4 Years of Age - 5th Grade

SUNDAY SCHOOL	WORSHIP SERVICES
Children meet at 9:30 AM in the room for their age/grade level for age-appropriate Bible lessons, activities and application (see below for rooms).	4 year olds - 4th graders are dismissed during the worship service to the Upper Room for a time of praise and worship through singing, giving and praying. After a short time together the classes are dismissed to other classrooms for age-appropriate Bible lessons, activities and application (see below for rooms).
4 and 5 Year Olds (NOT attending Kindergarten 2004-2005)
Meet in room number 5.	Meet in room 5 after the initial praise and worship time.
Kindergarten
Meet in room number 7.	Meet in room 7 after the initial praise and worship time.
1st - 5th Grade
1st grade meets in room number 8.	1st - 4th grade are dismissed to the Upper Room after the initial praise and worship time for Bible lessons, skits, drama, object lessons, games and "Today's Life Stories".
2nd grade meets in room number 10.
3rd - 5th grade meets in room number 11.
