Women's Ministry offers a variety of social functions, retreats, and Bible study groups designed to encourage and equip today's women for the challenges of living as a Christian woman in today's world.

Programs

Women's Retreat

Our Women's Retreat is a time of fellowship, growth, challenge and fun.

April, (Friday, April 27 to Sunday, April 29) we have a SeaSide Escape Weekend planned for our annual Women's Retreat (no, we won't really be going to the beach-but almost like it). In the SeaSide Escape weekend we will use imagery from the beach to create an environment that refreshes, reinvigorates, and reconnects women with God and each other...and reminds them to "be still".
Women's lives will be transformed as they explore the stories of Sarah and Hagar to discover the life-changing power of God's presence in their own lives. Our desire is for women to make new friends as they open their lives to each other through shared experiences, Bible study, and worship. We hope you can come and receive the lasting, loving affirmation of God's love.
Again this year it will be held at the Agape Farm near Mount Union. Please feel free to contact Erin Cernuska if you are interested in helping in any way with the retreat. Registration information about the Retreat will be available soon. If you have question contact Email: Erin

The retreat is a chance to leave the busyness of our lives and join other women for a refreshing and spiritual weekend. The retreat will include inspiring seminars, praise and worship, Bible teaching as well as times of fun, fellowship and relaxation.

Meal Ministry

There are times in our lives, such as the birth of a child or an illness, when our daily routine is disrupted. The body of believers at Park Forest Baptist Church minister to members of our congregation during these time by providing meals. If you have a need, please contact one of our meal coordinators so that arrangements can be made.

We have opportunities focused on women and their needs so you can find a place to plug in and grow in your faith.

 
Wednesday Morning Group
  The Wednesday group meets during the school year and coordinates with the State College Area School District

Friday Morning Women’s Study
  The Mom’s Bible Study is a group with a vision of learning, growing and mentoring.  Join us Friday mornings 9:30-11:30am at the church.  We will be studying “Real Moms...Real Jesus” by Jill Savage. 
Childcare is provided.
