Sunday Morning Classes. More information about Sunday school for children and children's church can be found in the Classes & Teachers section under the Services category.
Indoor Park begins in early November through mid April and takes place Tuesday and Thursday mornings
from 9:00 - 11:00 am. This is an indoor play park for parents and preschoolers. It's a safe, warm, lively place
to meet other parents of preschoolers while the children play under your supervision. Each year about five women are
needed to help with this program. We also like to borrow equipment and toys for the season. Contact the church
office if you are interested in helping. During the 2008-2009 season there were are about 200 families who signed
up their child or children to ride, slide, climb, and enjoy the equipment and toys while they have the opportunity
to fellowship with other adults. This is not only a wonderful ministry for
PFBC, but it is also a great opportunity to reach out to the
community.

The Club for Girls is designed to help each girl grow in her relationship with God, other girls, and her adult guides. Godly women lead the girls in developng these aspects of their lives.
Our Goals:
- Help each girl understand and adopt a personal faith in Jesus Christ
- Help each girl grow in her understanding of God's character
- Help each girl grow in living out Godly character in her own life
- Encourage each girl toward memorizing God's word
- Encourage each girl to develop healthy relationships with others.
Our goals are reached through a thematic approach of teaching and modeling 12 Biblical values through small group activities. Each club night consists of a Bible lesson focused on the club value, and activity, and a team building exercise. All activities are appropriately designed for each respective age group. In addition to Wednesday evenings, The Club for Girls sponsors a variety of fun extra-curricular activities that help reinforce the values we are teaching.

Annual Outdoor Festival is held on a Sunday afternoon in September. Activities in the past have included: a pig roast, pony rides, moon walk, balloons, watermelon, face painting, games, volleyball, snow cones, corn on the cob, dunking booth, and more. We encourage our church family to invite their neighbors to this great afternoon of fun and fellowship.
Our purpose in providing this picnic is threefold. First, we want to create an opportunity for you to become aquainted with our church family in a relaxed and casual environment. Secondly, we wan to introduce you to the various ministries at Park Forest Baptist Church which are designed to help your children develop faith in God. Finally, we want to strengthen your family just by coming and having a great day together. It'll be a day your children will remember.
All aspects of the picnic are free. If you are a visitor and would like to share in the meal you may bring a salad or dessert to share with the pig roast and pork barbecue, however, your contribution is not expected. Your presence is our pleasure.

TRUNK & TREAT! was held in the past on/near October 31st, between 5:30 and 6:30 PM for children apart of PFBC and the surrounding community in 5th grade and younger. Free hot dogs, tailgate style treats for children, and The Great Pumpkin Patch Parable were shared. People brought their car/van/trucks that evening and distributed candy from their decorated and undecorated trunks. This successful event was coordinated by Babette Manning.
