I’ve had the privilege of meeting with evangelical pastors in State College over the past few months. The group meets every Friday morning with alternating weeks focused on prayer, and then planning ways to reach our city for Christ. Many of the pastors have been preaching common themes about unity, and about creative ways to share the love of Christ with those who don’t yet know him. This coming Friday, our church is hosting a special “Date Night” for this group of churches. The event features a web-cast assembled by Focus on the Family including comedians, musicians, and speakers on a marriage theme. It promises to be both entertaining and inspiring. You can sign up to attend this morning in the church lobby. Registrations must be made by this Sunday evening.
