• Youth Picnic today at Bald Eagle State Park, 3 PM—Dusk. Meet at the park - Pavilion #4. Hamburgers, hot dogs, rolls and drinks will be provided. You may bring snacks or desserts. Families are welcome to stay.

• Youth Ministry- August 1st, 6:00-8:15 pm, i-growth night. All students that have completed the 5th grade are invited to join the Youth Group.

• Saddle Up and Hit the Trail on Saddle Ridge Ranch®
  Vacation Bible School, August 2nd - August 6th; 9:00 am - 12:00 Noon. Brochures / registrations are available at the Information Desk.

  Each year we include a mission project with our VBS. Our Mission this year will be to support the efforts of Dr. Rumbaugh in Honduras at Loma De Luz, he travels into the mountains and very remote villages to teach the children scripture, Bible songs, and share the Gospel message with them. He visits the schools often and by memorizing scripture, etc. the children can earn school supplies and Bibles for themselves and they can also earn fans and guitars for their school.  During VBS we will be collecting monetary donations as well as the following school supplies this year:
  Markers, Rulers, Pencils, Colored Pencils, Paint, Post It, Mechanical Pencils, Notebooks, Erasers, Chalk, Pens, Compass, Tape, Dry Erase, Scissors, Glue

  - Please remember to not open packages of supplies. We will only send unopened packages.

• Men’s Restroom Renovations- August 15th -21st. Sign up in the lobby, and note where you would like to help.

• International Ministries at Penn State- Did you know that there are more than 3,000 international students from 130 different countries studying at Penn State University? Truly, God has brought the world to our doorsteps. Mark your calendar and plan to bring your family to join us for our big annual International Welcome Picnic to be held on Sunday, August 15, 4:00-8:00 pm at Findlay Commons-East Halls on the Penn State campus (corner of Park Ave. and Bigler Road). Parking is available nearby in the new parking deck on Bigler Road. Also, you can help provide these new international students with good used items through our Garage Giveaway. Take your furniture and household items to Calvary Baptist Church, August 19 or 20, between 1-7 pm.

• Missions Moment
  Barry and Peggy Owen are church planting on the island of Taiwan. Pray that God will give them power and wisdom as they share Christ. Who knows how long the door of opportunity will be open on Taiwan.

• Recycle and Help Others- Save all aluminum tabs (soda, soups, etc.) and put them in the bottom of the yellow box in the lobby. These are given to the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey. Inkjet Cartridges are being recycled. Put them in the top of the yellow box in the lobby. These are also given to the Ronald McDonald House.

• Collecting used Cell Phones for A Woman’s Concern. A box is provided in the church lobby.
